Tips for a Great Shoot

Here are some ideas to help you make the most of your photo shoot. First – relax. Monica wants your shoot to be fun because it will make for the best photos. Monica is not about seeing how many shoots she can cram into each week to maximize profits. Monica is about quality and taking the time to make each and every shoot as good as it can possibly be – one at a time.
Here are some things to consider so that your shoot is a great one:
Monica uses the most beautiful studio in the world – the great outdoors. However, that means that we are at the mercy of the weather. Please don’t be upset if we need to reschedule your shoot due to weather. Your shoot will only be the best it can be when the weather is right.
Mostly – you want to match in terms of color. For example, everyone in bluejean pants and white shirts (perhaps mixed with white dresses for the ladies) or all tan pants and blue shirts – whatever but you want to match – and the closer the better. For the best results, the colors should be a perfect match (sometimes only accomplished if all the shirts are purchased at the same time).
Consider taking off your eyeglasses as they sometimes tend to date the photo. Also, they can be a source of glare so if you can do without them then that’s a good option. If you prefer to wear them, that’s OK too. In the end, the choice is yours.
